Current developments

First I wanted to present the last development stages of Elemens. The current preview is available on Youtube (see video above). In summary, most of the physics are ready, the main objects are developed and we just need to build the game. The cycle of life is designed, the fight mecanics are ready even if I didnt show it for now. For instance, in the last video, I show the green trees moving (animated) but it means above all that they have gone from being a static image to being alive. It is also the moment to explain you more the true concept of Elemens which is DNA based (each entity might be alive and have its own DNA). To use the example of the trees, each one must be different and resemble its parents. This is what I intend for Elemens.

Random Tree Generation

Regarding the tree generation, L2-systems is a very algorithm that could be used to generate trees according to its DNA (random sequence). So each player could have different populations of trees even exchange or breed. And what if every single DNA of the game would be unique for any player? We could create an “infinite” collection of DNA (creatures, animals, plants, trees, fungi…) with unique receipes, loot, skins… And if we make it exchangeable, I think that NFTs are the best way to make it really nice in 2021 ₿.

NFTs ₿

Non Fungible Tokens are tokens tradded on blockchain with a single value (unlike Bitcoin or any token). It is comparable to Picasso’s paintings, only one is unique and signed. NFTs are also used in video games to sell parcels of land or unique characters (like CryptoKitties.

Crypto DNA

As said before, this is the way chosen by Elemens to enable tradding between players. Unique DNAs could be generated inside the game after achieving success (after each boss, you unlock a new DNA for instance).

Crypto Attacks

In the same way, some ultimate attacks could be NFTs and totally change the gameplay of a player. It could be interesting to see so much diversity in PvP ⚔️
